
As the Body of Christ we are so clearly called to care for the poor and downtrodden. Care for them in material ways, yes, but also care for them spiritually. Street evangilization embraces both of those and it's amazing the response we get.

The Christian life is not glamorous, it is not easy. Thus neither is the work of missionaries. A team of 40 people came to the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota and realized just this. The living conditions were not the best. There was a greenhouse that looked like a barracks and it was converted into sleeping quarters. The flooring was concrete and there was dust everywhere.

One of the last nights of our mission trip, we gathered around a campfire and ate s'mores and worshiped God. The stars were out and it was hard not to recognize the splendor and vast greatness of the Lord. It went on for hours, and you could really feel the presence of the Holy Spirit.

This summer, our ministry had three youth groups come to our base and be apart of Minneapolis outreaches. They arrived in Minnesota on a Thursday night and went through our three day training weekend.
