This summer proved to be yet another summer of heart transformation on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. Our ministry has been taking groups out to South Dakota to serve the native people for 8 years and each year we see more fruit!

The Risen Warriors. Who are they, exactly? These are the men and women who are living on the streets among us. They are strong and it is the special calling of Lakota Hope, a ministry organization in Whiteclay, NE, to raise these men and women up.

This is my second year interning, and it has been incredible to see how much I’ve changed since last year. My leaders give me every opportunity to grow and to experience new things. The office is always filled with as much laughter and good conversation as it is with work. Relationships are important, whether it’s the relationships within our leadership team, the student teams that are here, or the people we are meeting in ministry. Now, as God is calling me to Peru, I can more fully appreciate how I have been prepared becuase of my time here.
I find it so encouraging how receptive people are to prayer and the love that a complete stranger offers. We talk with people, ask their stories, and ask how we can pray for them. And many times we get a positive response! Prayer is powerful and the Lord is certainly working in big cities as much as the far reaches of the earth. What follows are some stories of people we encountered on the streets of London.
