Health...
It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick

In July we heard from one of our representatives in Cambodia that her father was very ill and that the doctors could not diagnose his problem. We were a bit surprised. This was a man that survived the Khmer Rouge regime and genocide. He has participated in so many manual projects for our ministry, none of us could imagine him sick and weak.

Through the generosity of others and the grace of God, we were able to provide funding for medical assistance for him. They transferred him to a different hospital where he was diagnosed and underwent an immediate appendectomy. He recovered completely, and was back with the flood relief efforts shortly after.

It's a reminder that our bodies are weak even though our spirits may be strong and willing. We praise the Lord for medicine and skilled doctors and we ask for the Lord's mercy when it comes to our physical health.
